Are you interested in African art? Then the Wits Art Museum is the place for you. With over 13 000 African artworks which have been donated from various individuals and companies, this museum will help to broaden your knowledge about African art. In addition, there is the Jack Ginsberg Centre for Book Arts which has over 3000 artistís books and includes 400 South African artists. The main museum is open to the public on weekends. Some events to look out for are the WAM drop in and draw, and family and adult walkabouts through the museum. To visit the Book Arts museum, you will need to make an appointment.
