Mandela House was the residence of the late President Nelson Mandela. It became a heritage site after 1996 and Nelson Mandela was the founder trustee. At this site, you will learn about President Nelson Mandela’s story. The site looks at his life in the context of his house and in the context of how he lived his life. It aims to promote human rights, democracy, reconciliation, mutual respect and tolerance amongst the peoples of South Africa. Take time to learn about this man’s legacy.
